Fished from 12 to 4 in perfect conditions. Only caught a small rainbow and a 21" brown that was just under 5 pounds. Scott did a great job with a cast on his hand. We got it on an Apex trolled 55 feet deep in the Whitewater river channel.

Pretty Fish Sam.

We were 8-8 Saturday but no keepers.  Five of our fish came on Jr. Streaks, two Brown Trout pattern at 29, two on Purple Boxer running off a 100 CU and one off a Erie-desent at 51 behind a Spin Doctor flasher.

We did not fish the rivers thinking we may not see as many fish but we would sooner or later run into a go fish.

Only two fish weighed in for tournament.  Matt won with a 5-4 and young man with a 2.9.

That was a slow day. We had one stocker, and lost a 2lb + fish at the boat. Most hits were on bait. Sad day. We'll see what next month brings. Chasing walleye may be more fun and productive.
